The Application of Chlormequat Chloride in Improving Resistance and Keeping Fresh contact now

1. Improving resistance

A. Wheat

In the seedling stage of wheat, spray 1000-2000mg/kg chlormequat chloride solution on the leaf once a week and twice in succession can improve the drought resistance of wheat, increase the dry weight of plant, promote the growth of root system and reduce the transpiration of leaf. The regeneration ability of wilted plants after Rewater will be increased after treatment with chlormequat chloride. It has the same effect on barley.

B. Kidney bean

Use 250mg/kg of chlormequat chloride solution for irrigation or 500-1000mg/kg chlormequat chloride solution for leaves spraying. In that case, transpiration can be reduced and drought resistance can be improved.

C. Tomato

Soaking the seeds with 500mg/kg chlormequat chloride solution and then culturing them at low temperature of 12℃ can increase germination rate of tomato seeds. The tomato seedlings after treatment grew short and strong, with strong cold resistance.

D. Cabbage

When three leaves are grown, spray with 2500mg/kg chlormequat chloride solution on the leaves that can reduce the frost damage in autumn.

E. Pear

Spray 10000mg/kg chlormequat chloride solution on the leaves in spring can improve the cold resistance of the next full bloom.

F. Tomatoes, beans, sweet potatoes

Use 200mg/kg chlormequat chloride solution to irrigate tomato (50ml per plant) can enhance the resistance of tomato to Verticillium wilt; chlormequat chloride solution can also enhance the resistance of bean seedling to stem rot fungus; it can also inhibit the spread of sweet potato soft rot.

2. Keep fresh

A. Lettuce

The leaves of lettuce are prone to yellowing after harvesting. It can prolong the fresh-keeping period of lettuce to dip 10-60mg/kg chlormequat chloride solution into leaves overnight after harvest and then store at 15℃.

B. Cut flowers

The fresh-keeping period of cut flowers can be prolonged by adding chlormequat chloride. 10mg/kg can be used for fresh-keeping of Cut Gladiolus flowers. 10-50mg/kg can be used for the preservation of tulip, sweet pea, violet, goldfish grass, carnation, etc.

Matters needing attention:

① Chlormequat chloride can not be mixed with basic pesticides and chemical fertilizers to avoid decomposition failure.

② In the area where there is no mixture of chlormequat chloride, the test should be carried out first, and the application should be popularized when it is proved to be effective.

③ The temporary yellow spots appear on the tip of the leaves when the chlormequat chloridet is sprayed on the leaves.

④ After using the container, wash it with detergent.

⑤ Although the toxicity is small, it should be avoided to enter or touch the skin, and the operator should wash it after use.
