1. Controlling Plant Type

A. Lily

When the plant height is 6-7 cm, use 6000 mg / kg chlormequat chloride to irrigate the potted lilies (200 ml per pot), which can make the plant type dwarf, control the excessive length, and make the flowering plant height reach the commercial specification. If the bulbs of lily were soaked in the solution of chlormequat chloride for 12 hours before sowing, the effect of dwarfing was better than that of soil treatment.

B. Narcissus

Water with chlormequat chloride, 0.4g for each 13cm flowerpot, which can make the plant type dense and increase the number of flowers.

C. Hibiscus

Chlormequat chloride has special effect. When the new buds of Hibiscus is 5-7cm long, spray 1000mg/kg chlormequat chloride solution on the leaves, and the Dwarfing effect is good.

2. Changing Florescence

A. Rhododendron

Three weeks after pruning, use 1500-7000mg/kg of chlormequat chloride solution (200ml water per pot) can effectively improve plant type, promote early flowering and induce a large number of flowers. After pruning, foliar spray with 2000-5000mg/kg chlormequat chloride solution, once every other week, twice in succession, which can make azalea bud early.

B. Chrysanthemum

Spraying 3000-5000mg/kg chlormequat chloride solution on the leaves that can prolong the flowering period of chrysanthemum.

3. Promoting Fruit

A. Apple, pear

After harvesting, spray 1000-3000mg/kg chlormequat chloride solution on the leaves which can inhibit the growth of autumn shoots, promote the formation of flower buds, increase fruit setting in the next year, and improve the resistance. For young trees, flower buds can be increased after treatment due to shortened internodes of new shoots.

B. Grape

Spraying with 500-1000mg/kg chlormequat chloride solution on the leaves 15 days before flowering can delay the elongation of the accessory, shoot and promote fruit setting. It can also be used to dip 100-300mg/kg chlormequat chloride into grape flower clusters, which can make berry fruit compact, reduce abscission and increase yield.
