Nitrogen And Nitrification Inhibitor contact now

Nitrogen is one of the essential nutrient elements for plant growth and development. It is also the mineral element that plants absorb the most from the soil. The transformation process of soil nitrogen includes mineralization, nitrification, nitrate leaching, denitrification, gas volatilization and microbial fixation. The application of nitrogen fertilizer brings great risks to the environment where human beings live while promoting the rapid development of modern agricultural production. Urea accounts for more than half of the nitrogen fertilizer used worldwide. Urea is widely used as nitrogen fertilizer in agricultural production, and its transformation process in soil has important research value. After urea is applied to the soil, it is hydrolyzed under the action of urease. In addition to the increase of ammonium nitrogen in the soil, the hydrolysis products are lost in the process of nitrification and denitrification through gas volatilization, leaching and runoff. It not only causes a lot of waste of nitrogen fertilizer, but also becomes the main way of environmental nitrogen pollution.

Therefore, how to strengthen the management of nitrogen in agricultural production has been a hot topic in the field of soil fertilizer and environment. Inhibitors have been used in practical production in many countries to reduce nitrogen losses. Inhibitors can be divided into two kinds: urease inhibitors and nitrification inhibitor. The former can be used to slow down the hydrolysis process of urea from amide nitrogen to ammonium nitrogen in soil. The latter can inhibit the oxidation from ammonium nitrogen to nitrate nitrogen to reduce the loss of NH3 volatilization, nitrate leaching or N2 and N2O nitrogen. According to the research, starting from the biochemical transformation process of nitrogen in soil, regulating nitrogen conversion and slow down nitrification process by applying inhibitors is the effective means to achieve efficient management and utilization of nitrogen fertilizer [8-10]. In particular, it has a significant effect on reducing nitrate leaching loss and nitrogen oxide emission. It shows a broad application prospect in improving the utilization rate of nitrogen fertilizer and reducing environmental pollution.
